Polka-Dot Nails!

A note from Joelle...

It has been absolute ages since I did a nail tutorial thing, so I apologise for that. I was studying in my flat (like I do for about 10 hours everyday if you are reading this Mum) and realised that my little pencil case was polka-dot with a pink background and white spots. I didn't realise I owned any polka-dot items as I'm more of a stripes girl myself.
Anyway, I immediately whipped out my pink and white polish and thought I would give polka-dot nails a go! I have seen plenty of nail tutorial post on this nail art before, so there wasn't really any trouble.

What you will need:
White polish - *I used Saffron London Matte White
Pink polish -  * I used All About Nails - Hot Pink 'Raspberry'
Random colour for accent nail -  *This is totally optional, but adds to the quirkiness. *I used Models' Own 'Pink Fizz'
Cotton buds/pads - Just for any spillages!
Old bobby pin/ Rounded pin - *I used a cut-out pin from an old hairbrush!

1) Paint the accent nail and the pink base first and then leave until totally dry

2) Get you rounded pin/ hair pin ready and dip into the white polish. Slowly dab in random places on each nail. They never come out perfect so don't worry if some are oval shaped or bigger dollops!
3) you can then go over your nail with clear nail polish if you want that extra sheen!

So what do you think? Let me know below! :)
