Vintage Party With Atrixo and Vintage Patisserie

A note from Joelle...
I was really happy to be invited to a beauty event in London in Thursday night. Handpicked Media teamed up with Atrixo and Vintage Patisserie to offer a night of knitting, cakes, makeovers and more cake!
Typically, I arrived one and a half hours late due to a delayed train, rush hour and getting lost. However, it was the really classy end of London, so I got some good pictures of expensive cars and shops.
When I finally got in, I was warmly greeted by Jenny, who showed me the new Atrixo hand cream products and offered me refreshments. I had to admit that I had never heard of Atrixo, but Jenny explained that the company has been around for 55 years!
I did miss out on the knitting workshop, but I happily watched the other bloggers finish theirs off, while I had my make-up done. I went for the big MAC Ruby Woo lips and eyeliner flick!
I had a little sample of each hand cream and the Enriched Moisturising Cream (with Camomile) is my favourite. I am a total moisturiser-junkie so this was perfect for me!
I got to chat to some lovely bloggers who I have met (virtually) on the F.B.L facebook and that was awesome!
The only non-grainy picture I took that night! I scoffed down about four of those macaroon passion-fruit mousses!

I was lucky to take home a goodie bag filled with lots of Atrixo samples and a cake in the shape of the hand cream pot. This blew my mind and must have taken so much time to make.
cake!
Just went for it and took a huge bite - oh yes, I am so classy.

Overall, I have found my new staple hand creams and don't think I'll be going elsewhere for a long time!
Many thanks to the Vintage Patisserie gals, Jenny and HandPicked Media!
What I wore:
Dress/Top thing - H&M
Leather leggings - Primark
Boots - New Look
