Singin' In The Rain + Byron Burger

A note from Joelle...
You guys must know that I am a total theatre nerd by, now right?
This is a very picture-heavy post, so I'll just let them do most of the talking for a change! I went to London with my sisters during the holidays to see 'Singin' In the Rain' at the Palace Theatre. It was amazing. I have to admit, I did compare the majority of the musical numbers to the original film (as did everyone else) but I was really impressed with the transition to the stage. There were new songs added for Lina Lamont and it sounded like it had always been in the original show. The dancing was brilliant too and it looked effortless.
The big numbers like 'Make 'Em Laugh', 'Singin' in the Rain', and 'Good Morning' were so entertaining. I don't want to ruin it for you, but if you manage to get stall seats near the stage, bring a waterproof jacket and wear it during the show!!
(**Annoying incident: prepare for rant) During the show, a member of staff shouted at my sister and I for taking photos. I politely informed her that it was not us (the flash came from someone miles away from us, by the way) but she was incredibly rude about the situation and did not apologise for her outburst. Perhaps we were an easy target because we were the youngest in that row and also in the aisle? Who knows, but it was really annoying. I could tell she felt bad when I went up to by a programme and ice-cream from her during the interval, yet still no apology, hmmm.
The umbrella was for theatrical effect - it wasn't raining. This was also the first time I had ever worn wellies to the theatre - times are changing!

After the show, we headed to Byron Burger in Leicester  Square. I LOVED the meal, service and the diner décor.  See the pictures below.

My sisters went for the still lemonade

This is honestly the BEST milkshake you will ever try. I had the strawberry (of course), but you can also get Oreo flavour! There are real pieces of strawberry in it and it's so thick and creamy. The steel diner cups are great too. Perfection!

I went for the cheese burger - what a beauty! My sisters went for the Classic Byron instead, we all had ours well done.
Attractive...
The outside of the restaurant is pretty snazzy too!
I highly recommend seeing 'Singin' In The Rain' and also going for a meal in Byron Burger. There are tonnes of theatre deals from HERE with pricing now starting from £12!!!! Byron is pretty affordable too and the vibe is great. There are 27 Byron Burgers in London, 1 in Surrey (Kingston), 1 in Kent and 1 in Oxford.
