A lovely lady from ghd emailed me a few weeks back asking if I wanted to review a new product. I excitedly agreed and was eager to see what would arrive on my doorstep. It was this cute little bottle of finishing spray! I often use oily sprays targeted at a girls with African-type hair, but it was great to try something more mainstream and new. I used this product for 8 days before writing this review.
I just have a weave out into my natural hair a few weeks back and I usually just stick to my hair oils to make it shine. But we all know that hair oils can make your hair look and feel greasy (even if a small amount is applied) so I was happy to try it.
|Very nicely packaged in an embossed card box|
I washed my hair and then dried and styled it accordingly. I then sprayed a light coat all over my hair. I didn't see the shine straight away, but then I ran my fingers through my hair) to make sure it was evenly distributed and there was no greasy feeling left on my fingers! Whooooa! My hair was suddenly gleaming and that is the best it had looked in a ages.
If you were to buy this in a shop, it would be £9.95 for 100ml, which I think is great value for money. There is no overpowering scent with this spray either, which is a relief.
As some of you know, I have been really influenced by the 1920s flapper fashion and hairstyles recently. This means curling/crimping my short hair and giving it that Golden Hollywood sheen. I don't think I could have got that glamorous sheen without this spray to be honest.
Many thanks to ghd for letting me try out this product! I have used it so much these last few week!
