A note from Joelle...

♫ ♪ 'Red Lipstick' - skint and demoralised ♫ ♪

^^ LOVE this song (and it's so relevant!)

From the 9th to 15th June, thousands of women around the world wore red lipstick to show their support for Cervical Screening Awareness Week. It was really great looking on twitter to see lots of women taking part and I really enjoyed taking part myself!
Even though that week has come to an end, it's not too late to take part if you are still interested!
According to the Red Lippy site, 5,000 lives are saved in the UK by cervical cancer screenings each year. With this said 20% of women still put off not booking a test!
That's where this project comes in to encourage women of all ages, race, background to...

Be bold, be glamorous, and join the Red Lippy Project and get tested! It could save a life!

Follow their twitter at @RedLippyProject
And the hashtag on twitter (and errr now facebook!): #RedLippyProject
