Isle Of Skye

A note from Joelle...

♫ ♪ 'May It Be' - Enya ♫ ♪

I spent all of last week relaxing, recharging and taking a break in the Isle of Skye, Scotland. LOL jk, I was bolder climbing (I have the cuts all over my leg to prove it), measuring dykes (don't ask...), walking uphill for miles and being bitten by midges and God knows what else!
At least the view was good! Here's a little photo diary of my time in Skye.
This place is somewhere between Middle Earth and a fairy tale setting!

Most of these images I took didn't even need to be edited.
Great Britain may look like a teeny, tiny little country on a map, but we boast over 1000 islands in our territory! Lots of amazing mountains, ancient volcanoes and unique languages and cultures.
I tried my hand at learning a bit of the local language: Gaelic, but failed miserably!
Myself, Gayle and Eimhear :)
I'm really happy to get the chance to travel so much with my university degree! It's hard work, but working next to this stunning scenery is totally worth it!
Have you ever been to any British islands or any local islands where you live? :)
