RECIPE: Healthy Ginger And Jasmine Iced Tea

A note from Joelle...
Morning!
The folks at SimplyHealth challenged me to come up with a tooth-friendly, exciting recipe. Even though I love sharing my baking recipes, this time I want to share my refreshing Iced Tea drink!
Ginger, water and green tea are included in SimplyHealth's 'Eating For a Healthy Smile' list and also feature in my recipe, so we're onto a winner here!

You will need:
 - ginger teabag - ginger helps to support healthy mouth tissue
 - jasmine teabag - green tea fights cavities and is rich in antioxidants
 - ice cubes - well, we all know how vital water is!
 - teaspoon of honey - just for a wee bit of sweetness
 - fresh fruit (chopped) I went for strawberries, lime and cucumber - helps to infuse the flavour!

Method:
 - Boil some water and let both tea bags brew for about 5-6 minutes.
 - Then remove the teabags and place the hot water on the side to cool right down
 - Once completely cool, add in the honey, ice cubes and fresh fruit
 - Stir well and enjoy!

Ahhhh, reminds me of the two weeks of British Summer! Let me know if you give this a try and remember to check out the eating for a healthy smile link above. There some foods on there I never knew were great for our teeth!
