Whatever you call it, have a good one! I'f you're not from the UK and are wondering what on earth I am talking about, well let me explain:
In 1605, Guy Fawkes and his crew committed treason and plotted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London with gunpowder (hence the fireworks). His plan failed and he was hung, drawn and quartered in public. Lovely.
Us being the jolly Brits that we are hold firework displays and burn effigies of Guy Fawkes on bonfires on the anniversary of his failed plot!
This is actually my favourite holiday, mainly for the randomness of if, but also for the festive stuff that comes with it: thick, knitted jumpers, toffee apples, baked potatoes cooked to perfections on the bonfire, FIREWORKS!, sparklers and generally just a good old piss-up with mates!
P.S - you know the V for Vendetta famous mask? That's actually the face of Guy Fawkes!

"Remember, remember the fifth of November, gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason, why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot."

If you're not going out tonight, but are looking for things to do this Guy Fawkes Weekend, Stubhub is the place for you! From theatre trips, free bonfire nights to live gigs and fine dining. There's something for everyone around this time.

Whatever, you get up to this Bonfire night, have a good one!
