Winter Pastels

A note from Joelle...

Good morning!
Today, I bring you another style post more fitting to the weather we've been experiencing in the UK. It's well and truly winter, which often means black, grey and more black when it comes to clothes.
But I've found that pastels can work all year round - not just in springtime.
Leather Skirt - ASOS
David Emanuel is a huge name in the fashion world. He designed Princess Diana's wedding dress in the early 1980s and has gone on to new collabs like the Bon Marche X David Emanuel exclusive collection.
The jewelled jumper is wonderfully light and fluffy. Plus, everyone wants to oggle at and touch the beaded detail around the neckline! I've had to bat a few hands away!

The skirt is a New Look skirt from ASOS I picked up last year. I wasn't one for  the leather hype that exploded onto the scene in mid-2013, but I thought I'd give it a go. It rides up quite a bit, but the faux leather is really soft and comfortable.
Both pieces are so different, but I kind of like that!

What do you of the outfit? Would you wear light pastels in winter?
