The 'Deen Scene: Stonehaven Photo Diary

A note from Joelle...

♫♪ 'Sea Creatures' - SOAK ♫♪

Stonehaven is a beautiful (Tumblr-esque) coastal town south of Aberdeen City. It only takes about 20 minutes by train and about £4 for a return ticket, so I'm there quite a lot these days. It's a great place to come with friends or alone, just to clear your mind of any troubles and just de-stress!

The Bay chip shop is world famous for their fish and chips. All you have to do is stare at the ridiculously long queue both inside and outside of the shop to get an idea of how amazing it is. And once you finally get in, you are greeting with that nostalgic fish 'n' chips seaside aroma and a wall with countless awards hanging on it!
Not only are the staff incredibly friendly and talented at working fast, they also care about fish sustainability and local produce - YAY!

I am also a suck for cute packaging!

Less than two metres away is another famous eatery - Aunt Betty's. They specialise in sweets and basically the most random (but awesome) flavours of ice cream. Irn Bru ice cream, anyone?
