This summer, I spent a few months living and working on the Isle of Skye.
I knew it was famous for it's stunning geology and coasts, but I had no idea Skye scented candles were really popular!
So on our last day on the island, Eimhear and I popped into the shop in Broadford to see what all the fuss was about.
So we went into simply browse and look around............... After 20 minutes, I had spent a rather large sum of money on candles for friend's birthdays and some for my uni room next year. I'm such a basic girl! #SorryNotSorry
There were so many to choose from and I loved the story behind each unique scent.
100% renewable (and sustainable) soy wax and the finest oils are used to make these natural candles.
Not only are the candles handmade, when you burn them, no wax is left if the jar. This means that you can bring them back to be refilled!
I wasn't sure vanilla and fig would go well, but I was wrong... so, so wrong! This smells heavenly (so I bought three...)
I'm preparing for the colder months already with this winter candle.
If you ever visit the Isle of Skye, make sure to creep up the stairs and peer in. The staff are lovely and the lovely scents will blow you away!
